Reporting Tools

Web Report Pickup

  • Post reports or other documents for other users to download over the web;
  • Posting/viewing of reports controlled by security permissions;
  • Reports can be posted directly via the web, scheduled jobs, or DI’s Web Report Runner;
  • Search and filter to find needed reports.

Web Report Runner

  • Allows users to run predefined reports over the web via reports created with the DI Report Writer;
  • Reports can then optionally be posted to the Report Pickup module for other users to access;
  • View and maintain report history;
  • Administrative interface for maintaining security as to which reports can be run by certain users.

Local DI Report Writer

  • Local DI Report Writer that allows users to write their own custom ad-hoc reports against localized data that is stored in a windows-based registry or in local reporting database which can updated via Remote Refresh and I-Get;
  • User friendly, which allows users to mix-n-match report fields with query filters and groupings to create an exponential number of reports just by selecting the various options;
  • Remote Refresh is the mechanism that allows users to access the Central Site data locally;
  • Secure user authentication and authorization;
  • Robust Admin module for managing users, roles, permissions, facilities, data entry defaults, etc;
  • Report sharing;
  • No programming skills required.

Remote Refresh with I-Get

  • Ability for users to download and import records from a central data repository into a local reporting database to report against from a local DI Report Writer;
  • The local I-Get service will connect to the web server to retrieve and process downloads from the central data repository and updates the data in your local reporting database;
  • Provides a user interface to allow users to select a dataset they wish to download based on various parameters;
  • Ability to schedule Remote Refresh jobs to run on recurring basis;
  • A Command Line version allows for scheduled automated transmissions.

Driller

  • Users can interactively drill-down/mine data in any number of dimensions;
  • Allows users to interactively “drill-down” into a Data Table View in any number of a pre-configured set of “dimensions” using data visualization;
  • Users can set query filters and grouping mechanisms to quickly retrieve data.

Dashboards

  • Dashboards provide a graphical interface into your data via charts, graphs and other data visualizations.
  • Data can be viewed across many metrics and dimensions in an easy-to-read graphical interface;
  • Each dashboard allows users to select different sets of data by setting filters and parameters utilizing the Driller to narrow data-sets down to the information you would like to report on.

Central Site DI Report Writer

  • Users can use the local DI Report Writer to connect to any central database to take advantage of DI powerful local reporting engine;
