National Medical
Database Repositories
DI is excited to be a part of opportunities that help advance medical care
practices through national medical repository and research initiatives. We have
the knowledge and experience to facilitate national participation from users of
diverse applications, as well as to provide support for a project's on-going
success.
The explosive growth of DI's Collector Trauma Registry user base has led to
the development of DI's own national repository of trauma data - the
Collector Trauma Data Pool
(CTDP). For the more than 1,000 Collector facilities, the CTDP provides a
FREE repository for benchmarking like facilities on a global basis.
DI is also pleased to announce our recent collaborative partnership with the
American College of Surgeons (ACS) and their National Trauma Data Bank (NTDB)
initiative. Our partnership combines the clinical strength of ACS with the
software engineering and medical registry strengths of DI. These combined
strengths provide users with many options for participation as well as
benchmarking trauma data on a national level.
To learn how to participate or to obtain additional information regarding
NTDB, please visit DI's web portal at
www.ntdbdatacenter.com. The NTDB Data Center website has been
developed and implemented in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons.
Collaborative research taps the complementary strengths, objectives, and
missions of medical agencies and the world of technology. DI is proud to be in
the forefront of these projects in the trauma arena.
